2004 marked Mark's first return to the Busch series since 2000. Mark planned on running three races in the 2004 schedule, but he did not qualify for the Hershey's Kisses 300 at Daytona in February. He also plans to run at Michigan in August and Richmond in September. Matt Kenseth and Jeff Burton will also run a few races each in this car.
