Mark drove this specially painted car for the 1998 Winston at Charlotte. Eagle One was normally an associate sponsor of the Valvoline #6 car, but they became the primary sponsor for this one race. (Eagle One is also a subsidiary of Valvoline.) He was running a strong second until Jeff Gordon ran out of gas on the last lap. Mark won his very first Winston along with $257,000. The team used the very same car with the normal colors the next week in the Coca-Cola 600 and finished third.
