1990 Folgers Thunderbird

1990 saw Folgers appear as the primary sponsor. Mark won his second, third, and fourth races at Richmond, Michigan, and North Wilkesboro, respectively, as well as four poles.  He finished second in the points championship, 26 points behind Dale Earnhardt.  He completed more miles than any other driver in the series this 1990, earning the Sears DieHard competition.   

During 1991, Mark won one race at Atlanta and five poles.

Mark was selected as a member of the McDonald's All-Star Race Team in 1990 along with Rusty Wallace and Dale Earnhardt.
